The best thing is how expansive their benefits are but the worst thing is that the plans have changed for the next year
Best: health insurance is decent. One day of sick time monthly, 9 holidays annually beginning in 2016 (used to be 12). 401k matching contribution up to 5%.
This company offers a pretty complete benefits package. Different levels of medical benefits to fit different budgets. Also offers visual and dental.
Health insurance was adequate and inexpensive. Quarterly profit-sharing was the same for every employee, from the CEO down to booksellers. Discount was incredible
The most generous of any retail environment I know. Even available for part-time employees. It's one of the best aspects of the job.
Good amount of vacation time and sick pay, health benefits are good and not too expensive, 401k plan. Bad things starting January 2016 vacation time and sick pay are getting reduced. I have a feeling the cost of the health insurance will go up when come open enrollment time. Profit based bonuses are getting smaller and will probably go away some day.
The benefits are better than you'll ever get anywhere, period
Benefits are excellent and affordable. Includes health insurance, 401k with company match, generous vacation, sick, and holiday time. Love the employee discount.
HPB offers good health benefits.
Inexpensive insurance, great vacation and sick time allowances, excellent discount!
