Vacation hours cut back and difficult to redeem.
When I started you were given 12 paid "holidays" to take off in addition to the vacation time accrued. A few years ago this was cut back to 7, with the district manager telling the employees that "You'll NEVER use all your paid time off!" Huh??? These "holidays" were a wonderful benefit that were one of the perks of the low wage.
Vacation and paid time off starts at two weeks per year, and increases with every year you are employed.
You get 12 days in the first year, and a day every year after that.
This benefit used to be great but they have nearly cut it in half.
Standard sick and vacation time accrual. Asking for it and getting it can be tough busy weeks, but that's everywhere.
It's almost impossible to run out of sick/vacation time
After 6 months employees get a sick day, a holiday, and a vacation day each month as well as a day for their birthday. That is 37 days of PTO per year after 6 months.
I've taken 3 weeks off this year, and I still have about 100 hours of vacation time. No complaints there.
