Great benefits! They offered a lot of affordable options. The additional benefits such as the tuition exemption program are really great as well.
Good vacation, holiday and sick time off and good retirement.
403b VIP taxable income reducing deductions, health insurance premiums and parking expenses also reduce taxable income
Did not experience things like company perks, health insurance, 401k, paid vacation, and paid time off due to being per diem. You do not have any of that. It did offer a retirement plan that you had to pay, but they would not give to you if you quit/transferred/terminated your job at Harborview.
very generous vacation and retirement
Harborview/UW offers a comprehensive benefits package with healthcare options, a few different options for retirement accounts, paid sick leave, paid holidays, paid vacation days, life insurance and optional benefits like short and long term disability. Many of the positions are also unionized. There are a lot of good things about this employer, but being a state employee and having a great benefits package is definitely a perk.
The health insurance plan is pretty good, and the amount they charge for me and my husband to have health insurance seems pretty reasonable.
health insurance was the best. The worst is that it is really hard to get approval of vacation request. You have to be at least 3 in line in the waiting lists.
Good healthcare, 401K match was solid.
Excellent insurance plans and dental coverage.
