Additional benefits of working at Harvard Business Publishing include:
Amazing retirement and health insurance benefits
Health Benefits, Bonus, Flexibility, Summer Fridays, Paternity Leave, Back-up Care, Harvard School's Out Vacation Camp, Access to Free Museums, Volunteer Time Off, Vision Insurance, Dental Insurance
The best thing about the benefits package at HBP is the array of extra benefits that differ from a standard package (401k, medical, dental, vision.) A few of my favorites include access to reduced admission tickets for many events and activities around Boston (Theaters, Museums, Sporting Events to name a few), reduced commuter pricing, Summer Fridays when we can leave early to enjoy the nice weather, as well as starting with 3 weeks paid vacation.
Overall, the benefits are pretty good (perk of working for a big employer like Harvard). I've heard from coworkers that the parental leave policy should be better, but health/dental/vision is good, retirement contributions and 403b are very good, and various discounts (subway pass, tickets to events around town) are good too. One of the best benefits is the tuition reimbursement for taking a class, even if the class isn’t for your job.
Amazing benefits - absolutely no complaints at all.
-- Good vacation and time off -- Work from home one day a week, many remote workers -- Good health benefits, excellent retirement benefits.
Can only speak for full time employees, but it's a phenomenal package of benefits across the board- from those available immediate to the company through HBP as well as those secondary that are available through Harvard Univ.
The benefits package at HBP is the best I've seen in the Boston market.
My dentist comments often that we have really good dental coverage! Medical and vision coverage are solid. And the added perks - employee appreciation parties, group lunches etc. are really nice. They are a small break, a chance to connect with coworkers and feel appreciated for the work that we do.
This company has really good benefits.
