Comprehensive benefits package - health, continuing education, and wellness.
Competitive compensation and the opportunities to take courses at Harvard for 90 percent of discount. Great health insurace and retirement plan.
Continuing education, career training, and health/wellness packages
The compensation is on the low side but the benefits are great.
The benefits add up to significant portion of compensation. When I calculated the monetary value of the employer retirement contributions (not matching, simply straight-up contribution) I felt that was a competitive difference compared to other employers. The vacation, sick days, and other days off really add up to a good balance.
The benefits package is very good, and there are hidden gems if you dig a little bit. Outings and Innings is fun.
Not much offered for contract employees.
Paid time off for all national holidays and week between Christmas and New Years. Amazing health insurance coverage. Ability to earn a certificate or degree at the Extension School at an affordable price. Discounted tickets to events through Outings and Innings.
Harvard's tuition benefit for employees sets an incredibly high standard. Having worked for several large, prestigious universities, none match Harvard's level of support for employees taking courses.
4 weeks of vacation plus a week+ between Christmas and New Year's is a great starting package.
List based on reports from current and former employees. It may not be complete.
