Health insurance required you to stay in-network.
Mediocre prices benifits the worst part is the medical coverage you had to go to Healtheast clinics and wait forever to see a physician
Starting pay is higher than any EMS employment in the surrounding metropolitan area. Worst is that without a union, your pay will top out after 10 years.
Best things: wellness dollars and free gym.
The FSA they have is difficult to deal with, they are always questioning what you spent and then freeze your account if they don't like what you submitted
The best thing about the benefits are the coverages, they cover a lot of medical needs and it is affordable. Do not really like how the PTO is dispersed. you do not get the normal paid holidays you have to save up your PTO as it accrues per paycheck and use that to cover holidays and unexpected time off.
PTO. There has been a reduction in benefits within last 5 years. Full time employees do not automatically get holidays off. Have to request way in advance as well as vacation time in hope can one can get off.
Wellness program is great for employess
The benefits are great and comprehensive. You have many options to meet your family's needs. The health benefits are great!
