i really can learn a lot at the company, and we all have a long time vacation every year, these two points are great for me.
Companies Health Insurance and 401K is very good
They keep your pto if you get let go. Also your insurance ends at midnight the day of termination and if your in the middle of taking chemo or any treatment your screwed up.
The benefits package offered by HealthSouth is impressive. Matching 401K, vision, dental, life, short and long term disability. They offer it all. Of course it all comes at a price so it depends on your budget. They offer BC/BC and MetLife Dental. I had the MetLife Plus plan. It had a 500 deductible though so I could never afford to use it!
Full benefits on first day of hire. This alleviates the need to use costly COBRA for changing employment. Most hospitals make you wait 90 days to be eligible.
Step Up Points program, points given for going above and beyond your role that equates to money or other gifts you can redeem.
401k average, paid time off average, salary needs adjustment. Did not have health insurance, but heard it was average as well
There are a lot of company perks like 401 k, health insurance, paid time off, as well as tuition fee reimbursement
Dental is not so great. Health care is minimal at best; paid >$350 for ER visit (fluids and one medication) on top of the $100 co-pay, $30 co-pay for doctor visits with little coverage for labs and I have the plus program. Optometry is good for basic needs.
HealthSouth has a fairly comprehensive benefits package including 401k, dental, vision, health, etc. By industry standards, they have a comparable vacation package.
List based on reports from current and former employees. It may not be complete.
