Healthcare Services Group, Inc offers a variety of different benefits to eligible employees. Some benefits vary based on your location and eligibility for benefits.
Benefits improved greatly in 2018. 401 K not offered but stock plan is very good.
They do offer many benefits, but they do not offer tuition assistance.
It’s good to have all of them
They offer a stock purchase plan after 2 years of service. They offer vision, dental, short term and long term didsability insurance. There is a standard PTO program. 1 year you receive 40hrs, 2 years 80hrs, and 5 years you get 120hrs of PTO. You also receive only 3 paid sick days per year. This is a 365 day business so you do get paid time and a half if you are an hourly employee and work on a holiday. The worst part of the benefits is the health coverage. They only offer a MEC plan. This is the minimum amount of coverage allowed by the Affordable Care Act. There are hospital plans you can add on, but it’s not worth it. Those employees that had the coverage always had trouble using it, because doctors offices didn’t understand what it was and it was hard to get answers.
The worst thing about the benefits package is it is 100% employee paid, the company being as large as it is just have to merely offer benefits to it's employees but they do not contribute at all.
Health insurance is poor you would think a company of this size would be able to offer better health insurance benefits to it's employees
It's not great at all.
Stock purchase plan is great but only available after working with the company for 3 consecutive years. Prior to that the general health package and moving forward the health package is poor.
The best part about the benefits package is the dental and vision offered through Guardian which is by the best dental and vision I've ever had. All other benefits are subpar or over priced for what is offered.
The health insurance coverage that they offer is so bad it's offensive. And they don't contribute anything towards health insurance so how can it even be called a benefit.
List based on reports from current and former employees. It may not be complete.
