Health insurance could be better, but overall ok. Like the HSA account and the cheaper rates.
Standard benefits, paid time off increases with tenure.
Great benifts 401k plan, paid time off, great custmer service ,health ,and dental insurance flexable hours , nice inviroment l, nice employees , they pay for equipment
you contribute alot instated of the company which is an indication of their level of commitment to the ongoing retention at Heartland
excellent medical insurance. industry standard retirement and vacation.
PTO is very generous for the first year of employment. Three weeks is provided.
They have an excellent health plan that covers the entire family for medical, dental and vision as well. The 401 plan is good enough to build decent retirement for you and your family. Also, Heartland has many vacation trips for its sales team if they win regional contests. Overall they provide a well rounded health package for their employees.
One of the best would be the mobile phone discounts!
The cost is so high and the deductible is so large, I think you can do better on the exchange for health insurance. The Salespeople are required to pay more in premium than the employees on salary which includes management and operations. When I asked HR why? They said that the founder Bob Carr felt that since salesmen made more money, they should pay more premium which in turn lowers the premium for the salaried employees for the exact same benefits. I have never been so disrespected as a salesman and my family sure did sleep well knowing that I was helping the less fortunate salaried employees get a break on their insurance benefit premium,
Health insurance is through United, but it is definitely more expensive than any of my previous employers. The 401k doesn't even have a match, so it is pointless.
List based on reports from current and former employees. It may not be complete.
