Excellent benefits. Dental and health is a PPO that by today’s standards is very affordable and pays out well. No vision insurance but there is a discount program and reimbursement for prescription safety glasses, free boots yearly, uniforms, 401k, pension, competitive vacation and forgiving attendance policy.
Benefits are good and moderate health 8nsurance policy.
It was a comprehensive benefits package and it was nice that you could opt out of flex payments for those of us who don't wear glasses.
Hendrickson has great benefits and a pension plan which is rare these days. If you plan on working in a salary job, good luck hanging on long. These guys lay off when the market down turns.

Benefits seem great but when you read the fine print 401k is not matched until 3 years and birth control is not covered unless you have a doctors note saying it is for a medial reason. You have to be there for too long to get pension or decent vacation time.
Pros: Pension, 401K. Cons: You only get 2 weeks of paid vacation for the first 5 years (which is less than many other companies).
The best thing about the benefits was the optional "alternative" summer work schedule in which employees are permitted to work extended days in exchange for every other Friday off during selected summer months.
Very reasonable healthcare insurance premiums with good coverage, lots of healthcare focused programs offered throughout the year, and the company stays on top of comparing benefits with other companies in the industry.
