The best is the easy access to medical services and discounts on over the counter medicine.
There is a pension at Hennepin that is well run and fair, this is a big draw for many employees. PTO is generous. Health insurance is good, as long as Fairview continues to be in network.
Company does not match savings plan, but good healthcare plan.
Great 401K, 403b, and other retirement options. Very reasonable health insurance and dental benefits.
Multiple insurance plans, including a discount if you use HCMC clinics Health insurance has no deductibles and is fairly affordable
Flexibility and outreach is great. Happy people and good pay
Great health insurance, and PERA retirement matching
State pension benefit is a great deal
If you see healthcare at HCMC, the benefits are even better.
The best is the pension plans, and additional plans to save retirement. Medical is not too bad, but have less options. I am by myself, I think it is more costly for families. The worst is the Union, We pay high fees and they automatically put you in the Union or you have to pay some kind of fee not to. The Union is being pushed out more and more. The negotiations never truly go our way, ends up being an altimatum from HCMC. PTO is awful, they negated to change separate time off from sick, vacation and Holidays into one clump after a certain year starting work to PTO. You have about 30 days less a year. Another company trickle down from one to the next to cut funds to workers.
