Hensel Phelps offers a high deductible, full healthcare plan to employees and their families at no monthly cost to the employee. The high deductible is offset by an employer contribution to an HSA. Once deductible is met, all costs are covered by Cigna-administered company insurance. Average yearly employer retirement contribution is 15%* for each employee per year with a vesting period. Overall, very generous and competitive benefits package. The retirement plan/401k plan is probably on of the best plans offered by an employer, as it has a very high employer contribution even without a matching contribution from the employee.

BEST: I am not required to contribute a single penny of my paycheck to receive a very fulfilling retirement plan. HP makes contributions on behalf of the employee and it is very generous! people I know with financial backgrounds cannot believe what I say when I tell them about it. WORST: 90 day waiting period as opposed to 60 day period offered at other companies.
