I had a lot of years experience so I was unable to use all of my time every year and would have liked the option to carry over to the following year which was not offered
flexible time off is competitive
My employment guaranteed the maximum time based on my years of service.
We were always able to carry up to two years of vacation time. Now all vacation time must be used yearly or it is lost. No carry over at all.
Excellent starting number of weeks and grows with tenure.
Enough PTO but payout is bad
They start you off pretty low unless you negotiate higher paid time off.
Vacation time is great if you have been here for a long time. If you need more time, though, you can buy it. If unused, you get the money back at the end of the year.
Vacation and time off were good
Generally good vacation, pretty standard for large companies. But they totally gutted work/life balance for the global teams with their archaic back-to-the-office policies, so most folks were pretty burnt out and needed more vacation.
