Only two options for health insurance, but both excellent. 401k match is good, better than most. Plus, if you are salary, you get a once a year 401k bonus contribution from corporate if the company does well (and it always does).
Decent benefits, better if your in the union
Very competitive benefits package with a very flexible management staff
Annual pay raises are abysmal. The prescription plan is great though.
Medical, insurance and 401k benefits are very good at Hexcel compared to the immediate community and industry. The vacation benefits are lower than the communicate and industry. HEXCEL recently began an employee stock purchase plan for ALL employees which is great and long overdue. They also began to offer more special promotions, benefits and discounts for local and regional community activities such as sporting events, gyms, music concerts, festivals, special shows, museums etc. They also have had more frequent free employee "breakfasts" cooked by local managers to say thanks for achieving sales goals etc. They are trying to build up the moral although the salaries and raises remain low and the threats of layoffs loom.
The best thing is that you get benefits and the cost of those benefits seemed pretty reasonable. If you work in production your benefits start immediately. As a Lab tech your benefits don't start right away. The start after the first of the next month.
Health insurance is better than most places, but the premium cost seemed to increase every year. 401k, vision and dental insurance are good. Every employee is eligible for quarterly performance sharing and annual profit sharing bonuses. Vacation hours are generous but they make it difficult to use them.
Good People to work with
