Hillshire benefits emphasize ownership over your health and well-being. I really enjoy the focus on wellness, and would like to see a lot more of that. One thing I would like to see improved is the paternity leave policy. I would also like to see broader and deeper work/life policies in action throughout the organization.

Very competitive. Benefits are flexible so you can choose between several options that can fit your budget.

Honestly, the benefits were pretty nice. I never worried, but I didn't really have much to do healthwise.

Worst part about vacation is that it max's out at 4 weeks. Other companies I know are typically 6. 401k match was reduced when Tyson took over. Work/Life balance is horrible!

I love our benefits plan. I am a single parent and the plan is very affordable.
