Training is always updated
The best part is that it is one on one and an easy environment to learn in. The worst is probably they don't have a lot of training courses on the software they use.
To be fair, you mainly learn everything through repetition. Since there are a LOT of situational aspects that affect the job consistently.
Lots of training. Expect to be in training for a month or so.
Just watching videos and taking quizzes. There's nothing else for it, really. IHG has an entire training site dedicated to this, and Opera training is an absolute must as it's the lifeblood of the system.
You get trained in the job you were hired for by someone experienced
it was a great job working there and there was alot of time off work
The training you get is bare minimum. Instead of giving the training designated by the brand, the individual owners/management will toss you to the wolves.
another front desk agent will train you but you wont get any help from management
Detailed and easy to follow, no downside. They do great training.
