Best Thing: I got hired in prior to the year 2010 and got offered a 401K and Pension Plan. Worst Thing: They should have kept the pension plan for all new hires

The benefits that Honda provides are top of the line. They offer a 401k package with a match up to 6%. Also the health insurance is second to none and relatively cheap for great benefits.
Benefits are shrinking. Used to be top tier benefits package. They took away pension and we are going to have to pay heavily on our medical plans next year.
Would rate 5 star for benefits if the vacation package wasn't so terrible. It takes working there for 5 years to get a good amount of vacation time. ZERO days of sick/PTO for 1st year, but you can "Borrow" up to 5 days from the next year ( were after 1 year you get 10days) so if you use 5 days your first year, you only get 5 days during your second year. The benefits package is the best I have ever seen though, nothing was deducted from my paychecks and they put a yearly contribution into a rollover HSA, with the option of gaining more money if you get enough points. Matched 3% 401K, and had pension options, but I think this has since changed.
Each year we pay more for benefits. My net pay is decreasing each year because of this. Not benchmark anymore.
