Horizon Behavioral Health is dedicated to supporting and promoting the health, independence and self-worth of individuals and families in Central Virginia. In the pursuit of this mission, we strive to offer employees quality health benefits and retirement options.
Full-time, regular employees of Horizon Behavioral Health are eligible for health insurance benefits on the first day of the month following their date of hire. Part-time employees who work an average of 30 hours per week will also be eligible for health insurance benefits. Coverage is available for eligible dependents. Our health insurance plans include wellness and preventative healthcare coverage.
In addition, full time employees participate in the State of Virginia Retirement System and have generous paid leave and paid holiday benefits.
This is a brief summary of benefits and does not contain details of all of our plans.
Administration is toxic and environment is unhealrhy.
Outstanding benefits, great retirement plan
Best-time off Worst- cost of insurance in comparison to benefits. Families should expect to pay at least 1000/monthly for a reasonable policy. Good luck affording copayments. Be prepared to sit in meetings every year to be lectured on proper healthcare usage with no efforts to help employees maintain a good life balance
Very good benefits and leadership cares about employees. There are many wellness initiatives offered to employees.
There really are no perks for the majority of staff. You're lucky if you can get an agency car to use for agency business. There is no 401k and the insurance for my family is unaffordable. At $1200 a month, it's more than my mortgage, utilities, cable, and car payment combined.
Health insurance very costly. Salaries among job descriptions vary widely for same or like positions.
Benefits have been diminished. Health insurance is ridiculously expensive for a single mother with single income, unaffordable. Holidays decreased. Personal leave is no more. Disability only pays 60% if out.
Excellent vacation and sick leave, great learning environment for residents. Insurance could be better, but it is very low for employee only.
Great benefits! Dental Vision and Health insurance are great and offer decent coverage.
Generous annual leave and VRS is good. Sick leave is ridiculous, health insurance too expensive and you will have to pay $240 more for health insurance if you do not participate in the voluntary wellness program.
List based on reports from current and former employees. It may not be complete.
