The best part of the benefits package are the overall medical package, gym discounts and 401k contributions.
Horizon offers all the standard benefits and then some. There are various different levels of medical insurance--HMO, PPO, and high deductible PPO and there are premium savings for tobacco-free and wellness incentives. They also offer long term care insurance as well as vision, EAP, dental, FSA and employee discounts.
Decent insurance benefits. Vacation maxes out at 4 weeks after 5 years. Great employee discounts
Just really good benefits for a company this size.
The benefits didn't apply since I was part-time.
401K and Benefits plan was good when it was still an ESOP company. After selling the company it wasnt as good. Definitely took away from the employees.
They constantly changed the health insurance. Always a new dental insurance or eye insurance vendor. Health Alliance and Horizon Hobby seem like the legion of doom when they are in the same room together. Mental health care provided within the insurance is almost non-existent and you need it to work there.
Best-everything-I think they offer they best benefits plan Worst-cost
As a part time employee working 20 hours/week, I receive 401K and employer match benefits, paid vacation and floating holiday time off, quarterly bonus. I do not receive paid sick time and my paid time off benefits accrue based on my 20 hours and not my actual hours worked.
It's a pretty standard benefits package. There is a 'healthy' person and non smoking discount on health insurance if you get a yearly screening.
List based on reports from current and former employees. It may not be complete.
