If you don't fit into a perfect letter of health they will deduct pay weekly from your checks
Decent 401(k) with company match. Yearly profit sharing. I’ve only been employed in a career a one company, but I feel the health/dental/vision benefits are acceptable. Start with 2 weeks of vacation per year and can increases up to 6 weeks per year over the course of a career.
Received car and great insurance plan.
There is a pension offered, but it isn't controlled by the individual so it's difficult to be motivated by its existence. The 401(k) match was improved in 2017, but it's still not great. They use Joint Earnings Profit Sharing Trust (JEPST) to make up for poor 401(k) match.
Great healthcare benefits, and it's relatively cheap.
The company uses your current health conditions against you. You will owe the company $2/pay period (weekly) for each of the five health areas you fail during an annual physical. If you don't take the physical within the given timeframe you owe $10/pay period (weekly)! Other companies give you $100 for every health area you pass. Not this one! 401k match is extremely limited. Pension is offered but don't bet on it unless you plan to stay 7yrs....only likely for new hires due to companies old processes, ways of thinking and middle management decisions.
I believe, joint earnings is really a positive. Also, in field sales there are company cars, which also are awesome.
Hormel offers a nice package that includes healthcare, prescription, dental, and vision with many options. The retirement package is excellent! Pension, 401K, and profit sharing!!!
401k with match in a traditional or roth IRA, pension plan, joint profit sharing, bonus based on company performance and personal review rating. Vacation days alloted are lackluster
Hormel will match 100% of your 401K, they supply profit sharing on a yearly basis, and a wonderful retirement plan/pension.
List based on reports from current and former employees. It may not be complete.
