you get paid bereavement days, vision and dental, life insurance, 401K they match up to 2%.
Have been working the last 3 years on a parttime basis and did not have benefits.
Even as just an office volunteer, they ask a lot of you. You're the receptionist, while also logging data, while also literally crafting and putting together employee IDs, and fixing fax machines. You are essentially an unpaid intern, and sure you get perks like the occasional free coffee, but it's from a giving employee, not the company. What I didn't appreciate was that given all my hard work, I was kind of lead to believe it would lead to a part-time paying job and it felt they they strung me along to receive free work.
Best: Benefits offered are fairly good Worst: all vac, sick, holiday is combined so looks like a lot but isn't. No educ tuition, no ceu's offered for employees and have to take vac days to attend programs outside of work.
