What’s your perspective on the future of Primary Care?🤔 In the last 2yrs, Ive talked to so many patients often daily saying their normal PCP retired and they’re now seeing a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. My son visited an ER clinic this yr run solely by an NP. I was shocked as he performed minor office surgery, injecting local anesthesia, & removing a fingernail. Will NP’s supersede MD’s in some segments of healthcare or is it that there will be a shortage of MD’s?

I've noticed that the administrative staff in my department, and maybe even in general, is about 90% female. Anyone else see this in healthcare?

I got a rather long prescreen questionnaire to be completed for a job I applied to at a large healthcare company. This has rather annoying questions like why do you want this job. Interestingly this same company Hr called me for another position prescreen and barely asked any questions. I am rather turned off by these cookie cutter interview process and just not interested in moving forward. What are your thoughts?
