    You have to give 7 days notice for it to be approved , which it won't be for 3 - 4 months of the year due to what's called " blackout " when no one is allowed time off .

    Vacation time off is relatively easy to get, although there are tons of blackout dates. Sick time, however, is almost impossible to get approved for.
