Our company takes a holistic approach when it comes to employee benefits. We believe that employees should have their health insurance coverage on day one. At a time when insurance premiums are on the rise, we have been able to keep employees’ costs down through careful plan crafting and an added Health Reimbursement Account that takes care of 75-88% of the deductible costs. To offer convenience for our employees, we introduced Telehealth feature that allows our employees to “visit” their doctor, pediatrician or mental health practitioner via a video chat. A free Health Advocate is also there to help our employees navigate the sometimes confusing world of health insurance.
Planning for the future is just as important as living in the now. We start investing in our employees’ 401k retirement immediately. In every paycheck, the first 4% of employee’s contributions are matched dollar for dollar with a company gift contribution, no strings attached.
We believe that we are stronger together and apply this thinking to our quarterly incentive program. When our site team meets their goals each quarter, everyone on that team earns a quarterly incentive.
Our employees receive a complementary life and disability insurance benefits. Through the years, many of our HMR mothers were able to utilize the short-term disability during their post-partum care, others found comfort knowing that the insurance was there to help them financially while they recovered from a surgery or injury. Although the most difficult thing of all is to lose someone we deeply cared about, the life insurance was there to ease the financial burden for our employees’ families when needed.
