Only get paid for two holidays
When Tenet owned HNMC the the benefits, especially healthcare, were excellent. When HCA bought the hospital only improvement was a generous 401k match. The rest of the Benefit Package was not beneficial at all. The first year I worked for HCA I had more out-of-pocket expense than I had in my whole career added together.
Vacation, sick days, and PTO are all in the same package. PTO takes 90 days to begin to accrue.
The premium was expensive for one person.
Expensive, little coverage. Should get bonuses for extended period or work times.
Great benefits and incentives offered
It was a good package
The health insurance benefits are great and are mostly covered. Best part is the hospital helps you stay on track with whatever plan you choose by promoting good health using employee challenges, delicious catered food, and fundraising walks runs plus their own employee park complete with a walking area.
