At HubSpot, we obsess over culture because we know that amazing culture is what allows amazing people like you to do their best work. We offer a laid-back work environment, full of camaraderie, where you have the autonomy and flexibility to drive your career.
Our exciting perks and benefits include unlimited vacation, a retirement savings plan matching program, $5,000 a year for continuing education, and comprehensive health and dental insurance, just to name a few.
Great paternity/maternity leave policies - great medical coverage as well. Another great element is the work from home flexibility, even in departments or functions that do not traditionally champion remote employees.
HubSpot does a great job of providing benefits for their employees. Specifically, the co-pay on the healthcare benefit is amazing! It would be great as HubSpot scales and the demographics of their employees start to change to offer later staged healthcare benefits.
Unlimited vacation policy and flexible work from home
They offer good benefits and have a strong focus on ensuring employees avail themselves of the benefits offered. 401k match is there but not really competitive with other mid-sized tech firms.
The unlimited vacation is great. I also appreciate the team events that try to foster a sense of community among the product team.
Unlimited vacation, no deductible on health insurance, free barista-made drinks on site, 3 months maternity leave, 1 month paternity leave
The worst benefit package at HubSpot is 401k matching. It's really low (few thousand $) per year. All other benefits are awesome - health care coverage is BCBS, company perks are all over the place, folks enjoy taking the gym classes in HQ, vacation is truly unlimited and sometimes managers remind employees like myself to take them -- work becomes play and sometimes we get a bit too addicted to coming in the office and seeing our peers.
Everything is amazing. The unlimited PTO is great for not having to count hours when you need doctors appointments or emergencies come up. The parking pass has helped a lot, and is great to have for when we want to go into the city on the weekend. Pet friendly office is amazing.
The benefits at HubSpot are phenomenal. Best you've ever seen. What doesn't measure up comparatively, however, is the maternity and paternity leave plans. For a company that touts itself as always being ahead of the curve, we have a basic parental leave policy, and thats it. Don't get me wrong, the paid 3 months maternity, or 1 month paternity is more than MOST companies in the US. But its behind for tech, and behind for a company that wins "best place to work". We were one of the companies that first started having unlimited vacation in the Boston area when it was still unheard of. Would love to see us trend setting in parental leave policies too. We need to walk the walk.
Best: Unlimited PTO, flexible work schedule, HubSpot pays our deductible Worst: Mediocre maternity leave, the 401k company match is kind of a joke
