Fantastic health, dental and vision. 100% 401k match for 6% of salary. 8+ weeks parental leave. Great work-life balance and work from home policies.
As interns we had 401k, health care, sick days, and access to their in-office gym and meditation rooms.
401k matching, Verizon phone plan, two weeks vacation + 1 week personal days.
There's health insurance and a retirement plan. Apart from that, you can ask for a membership in the gym and "enjoy" the sleeping pods within the building.
Best thing is that your manager will always work with you to get you time off outside of what is available with the limited amounts that are given to you in their default contacts. The worst thing is that the Systems Engineers are realistically never able to take any time out of work as there are no standards to the infrastructure and things are changing constantly as each individual engineer does new work and undoes someone else's old work and you will always be expected to have a quick turn-around on tickets / high velocity as measured in the ticketing system. Your manager may also be very willing to give you more than is allowed by the company, but might also use that information to keep you in their back pocket later, which can be a stressful situation.
They will keep you freelance for years to avoid giving you benefits.
Long hours, little pay. But you're allowed to make use of the insurance offers and retirement plan among other things.
Working from home...but that was it
Paid for the use of our cellphone.
The best thing is that the parent company, Verizon, now matches 401k contributions of 6% or more.
