    You can work from home all you want once you get permission, however, your only view of progress by the team will be your "velocity." (how fast you close tickets.). Often times the entire technology team's priorities will change and you may not be notified and may continue working on projects that are actually no longer wanted by your team. If you are part of the on-call rotation, you may sometimes work 24-hour periods occasionally. As well, anyone can add nagios alerts and you will routinely be awoken by alerts you have never heard of for services you didn't even know existed or how to diagnose the issue other than reading the alert and figuring out what services to try and read the logs of and restart.
