It's a good Cigna plan with a high deductible and an HSA. Hughes will contribute some money to your HSA for every objective you complete from a list up to a maximum contribution based on if the plan is individual or family. The objectives include: participation in bi-annual company-wide step contest, promise not to smoke, get a physical, etc. As far as premiums are concerned, they are not outrageous, but another company I recently looked at had much better plans for the same employee premiums (that company paid 80% of the total premium). Perhaps my biggest gripe with Hughes health insurance benefit is that there is only a single plan, and no option for a low-deductible plan, even at a higher premium. This makes the health insurance less useful for someone who has many medications or appointments (although there is an out of pocket maximum of $5,500 per person or $11,000 total for family).
Way too high premiums and deductible
The health insurance is good
Good and provide options to cover dependent
Health Insurance is nice but expensive
Health insurance is through Cigna which is accepted at a decent number of doctors.
$1500 deductible $5500 out of pocket max Administered by Cigna
High deductible plan - $1500 deductible
Company perks are standard that are offered by any other company
It is satisfactory nothing great about it.
