They had a great direct deposit program with mountain america credit union. The health insurance was pretty basic and there were not very many plans or options.

The benefits were very expensive and confusing. I had to get insurance so i did not have a choice but to sign up with them. Ive work for companies with better insurance options

health insurance, 401k, immediate PTO from hiring day and vacation days (after one year). BEST benefit; COMP Nights at any hotel world wide and also discounts for employees, family and friends!!! and when you stay at a Hyatt, you get 50% off of food and beverage. I must say, this is one of the best hotel company you could ever work for.

Good: 12 free nights at almost any Hyatts around the world, but you usually have to book 12 months ahead for popular ones or book at employee rate. If you work for a bigger hotel, the breakfast/lunch/dinner in the employee cafeteria is usually free or $2-5 per day, nothing fancy, basic hot food rotates daily and salad bars. Exempt employees have 401K and the company matches the first 5 % of your contribution. Bad: Need to improve the health insurance for exempt employees. Vision and Dental are okay but the cost for health insurance is too high. If you are an associate and have union cover you, you are better off than an entry level manager and even some of the mid-level managers.
