Hyland offers paid time off to employees.
Above industry standard, including sabbatical program, volunteer time off, etc.
Can’t complain. Nice amount of time off. No hassle calling and fighting or pleading with a manager about needing the day off.
Enough Paid Time Off hours. Plus flexible work hour shift.
Hyland is on-par with other tech and progressive companies. Holidays are paid and 2 weeks paid is minimum to start. Other options such as volunteer time off, and family medical/parental leave are big new benefits.
Vacation days are a good amount
Vacation Time / PTO (Personal Time Off) is also the employees sick time. And Hyland requires you to save you PTO time for when you are sick. As the building are open air and if one employee gets sick, it will spread.
PTO and Sick time are combined. Due to Hyland's open air office structure PTO time is needed for sick time.
PTO time is your time but the company requires you to still work while out on PTO, this is mandatory to clock hours while taking PTO time. the only time you have is after 8 years and get a sabbatical
Sick time and Vacation time are combined.
decent vacation and PTO plan. Also some flex days.. but all this is possible only if you can get time to actually use these time-offs.
