    They give you vacation time but the work load is so heavy, you cannot take it and you loose it at the end of the year. Plus it is an accrual basis. If you take all of your vacation in, lets say March, and then you are laid off, you will owe for un-accrued vacation. It is a very nasty way to hose people!

    The amount of vacation was not what market holds for the number of years of experience I had. BUT managerial discretion for bereavement was good as they gave me a week off to take care of my monther's arrangements when she passed.
