Standard is 3 weeks of vacation. Many, Many employees and myself have been ridiculed or forced not to take vacations. Only the good employees this will happen to.

IBM has expanded vacation time off so new employees do not have to wait 10 years for 3 weeks vacation. The biggest challenge at IBM is not in accumulating vacation time, it is being able to take the time off without impacting the business you are supporting. I routinely worked over Christmas and New Years.
