While many can work from home, IBM is moving backwards and moving employees to "centers" to both get shed older worker who don't want to move to centers in literally middle of no where and then hire recent college to staff these centers for less money

IBM was much better early on - paid for internet connectivity and phone line - that went away slowly about 10 years ago. Then they tried to bring everyone into a local office - that did not pan out as expected and they backed off. After COVID-19 there will be more opportunities to work from home ...
