They were in the process of doing away with PPO plans which I preferred.
It hadn't happened yet when I left but they were getting rid of PPO plans and were going to begin requiring health savings account/flex spending options. I preferred the PPO.
It is a normal benefit. DTOs are great. After 5 years one can get total 27 days off including sick leaves.
For new hires, you will get 15 days of paid vacation and 5 sick days.
Average benefits. Every year the company changes benefits to be in line with other companies.
IGT benefits package is wonderful, great vacation policy. 11 paid holidays and sick time
Solid benefits program. No complaints. Previously had a bonus program, but that has since been eliminated.
ESPP very low 5% compared to average of 15%
Health insurance is OK, but has been getting worse in recent years. There is no employee stock program, even though legacy IGT employees have been offered this for many year.
Benefits were average for a company of this size. For a high technology company they really didn't offer what you typically would see in other similar companies..
