Dollar for dollar match a percentage based on your age 403(b). that vests immediately. Great medical/dental visions at very reasonable rates. 10 paid holidays and generous vacation time. Tuition exemption, subsidized bus pass. Access to UW libraries!!
Great benefits via UW and WA state health insurance options
Very low costs since the benefits come through the University of Washington
Generous 403k, vacation time off, sick time off, and retirement plan.
Best: health insurance, affiliation with UW, happy hours, free food, bike storage, locker room, etc. Worst: They took away workplace yoga
The matching retirement option is fantastic, good selection of health plans to choose from, discounted ORCA card as UW staff, fairly generous PTO and sick leave. Supervisors are coached to work with their team on arranging work-free vacations and comp time after crunch sessions. Paid maternity/paternity leave is still missing from state employment packages.
Many health care options, same as UW system. Good vacation time and 401k match.
Generally inexpensive health and dental plans through the State of Washington. The voluntary retirement plan is also nice, but the third-party administrator (Fidelity) is not the best as many investment choices are limited. As for company perks, vacation time, etc., these things are almost non-existent at IHME. Abysmal PTO with almost no outside benefits for training or development.
Health insurance is reasonable and coverage is good. I would rate it as a good package. The vesting/matching for retirement is very good.
It's part of the UW, so the benefits are pretty good. Benefits are very transparent--check the UW website for full details. No complaints here.
