paternity leave in the U.S. sucks in general...
This has changed I think but it was like three months for moms and 6 weeks for dads.
US is slowly coming around on this and IHS Markit is making strides to get ahead of the curve in this one area. Offers 6 months to primary care giver and i believe 2-4 weeks for secondary care giver. Recent change.
Just put in place a new policy with 6 months leave - fantastic
The offer the bare minimum for maternity leave, but did at least introduce parental leave (not just maternity leave).
Previously the Paternity Leave was 3 month, but now the new policy come up. It becomes only 2 weeks
Very progressive by US standards, but implementation (or lack thereof) comes down to individual managers.
3 months maternity and 1 month paternity.

a standard 12 weeks paid leave however it would be really flexible if you are willing to combine with your vacations or non-paid leave.
