Full time employees of IST are eligible for a full benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, ad&d, short term disability, long term disability, pet, legal, commuter transit, employee assistance, and 401K. IST also offers full time employees paid holidays, and PTO days that can be used for vacation, personal, and sick time off. We offer a variety of employee reward, bonus and recognition programs as well including bonuses for referrals, training, employee of the quarter, policy updates, and performance. There are many employee recognition programs including service awards, monthly positive comment winners, training events, quarterly Blackman Bucks employee reward auctions, employee recognition events, social events & outings. IST encourages employee training and professional growth through programs like online training tracking, management training programs, Executive Presence programs and training bonus incentives. 401K is standard within the industry. I believe IST matches at 25%. Not much in the way of matching your contribution. The paid time off program was sub-par; recent improvements have changed that. It amounted to one day off per month, to be used however you wished. No holiday pay. Now there are six recognized holidays that are given for free, plus the additional 8 hours per month. Employees with five or more years in the company can expect 16 hours off per month. Medical insurance is not worth it. Medical benefits plans offered are not exemplary, and many key services such as mental health and elective surgery are denied. Vision and dental are competitive, but not exemplary.
The company does allow time for funerals and pays 6 holidays a year now. Up until now, that was not the case.
The company offers great benefits! 401k, health, dental, life insurance and even pet insurance for those who have pets! Wish we had more PTO hours added every month but its better than no PTO at all.
All the benefits are offered but pricey, I have coverage elsewhere except for a few that i do get through work
Best- Pet Insurance available, Dental coverage is comparable to others in the industry. The Health Insurance is expensive with extremely high deductibles, no 401K match,
The job is fairly laid back, so long as you do everything you need to.
