The health insurance is great if you're old and in failing health; it's a terrible deal if you're young and healthy. The retirement plan - managed by TIAA-CREF - is a pretty good deal, with increasing matches for your first few years of employment. 20 vacation days per year, in addition to some time during the shutdown around Christmas and New Years. Unlimited sick time.
