The school district works hard to offer a good benefits package. There are various options of health insurance. Dental, vision, life and other types of coverage are also available. Currently, the District has a high deductible health care option and the ability to sign up for Flex Spending Accounts or HSA accounts depending on one's choice of coverage.
The benefits package includes dental, vision, and health insurance for all full-time employees.
Benefits seem to be getting more costly overall.
The worst thing about our benefits is how much they take out of your paycheck. As a teaching assistant we are barely scraping to get by with our hourly wages, let alone when they take out bi weekly. However, due to them taking a lot out you have a stellar insurance package. I know people who work as Teaching Assistants just to get the insurance for a family member or themselves.
overall isn't bad if you're single. Family can be expensive. They do offer to different options, PPO and High deductible
Really good insurance benefits. Love being able to choose my own doctors
No benefits at all and very low pay - not at all competitive with the surrounding school districts.
