best i've seen in 10 years
They pay 10% into 403(b) or TDA
They put in ten percent of your salary each year with no contribution required by you. You can also put aside an additional amount in a separate retirement account.
I wasn't there long enough but, again, if you are a long time worker and contribute, you'll have a good retirement.
10 percent contribution starting at hire, 3 year vesting period.
Good rate of matching, exceeds employee's optional percentage.
It is stable, has consistently grown, and has a good employer contribution. I have contributed little myself over many years, but the retirement fund has done well.
The retirement plan for salaried employees is good. IU will contribute 10% of your salary into a 401k plan. In years past, it was up to 15% but has been reduced over the years. You have to stay with the University for three (3) years to be vested.
