I find the benefits package at Indiana University to be very generous and above average in comparison to most companies. IU pays a high percentage (10%-15%) of your base salary into your savings account and offers personal financial planning with experts for no additional cost. As a single individual, IU puts approximately $1,500 into an HSA account with the employee contribution per year equal to $300, pretax.
I get health insurance, 21 credit hours a year and 100% of my tuition paid for.
Indiana university offers tuition benefits for the employees who want to persue higher studies. University payes a fraction of tuition.
The university offers a comprehensive benefit package
Excellent Health Care package for full time employees! Multiple options such as an HSA and can include spouses and children on the plan. Most employees get Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield.
IU has one of the best benefits packages I've seen. In addition to the copious leave, generous medical/dental, tuition support, and retirement benefits, they've just implemented paid parental leave (6 weeks!)
