Very Generous PTO package for employees compared to other companies.
401k match, unlimited PTO, free gym membership. Health insurance is OK for a single, healthy individual, but quite expensive for colleagues with families.
It's a very flexible place to work, as a result work/life balance is really good. 401k match could be a little better, but at least they match to some extent. Free eye insurance is a plus.
No profit sharing or stock available.
Health insurance packages were sub-standard
good benefits and great company.
Health insurance options were middle of the road for what the premiums were. 401k match was a little disappointing at 50 cents on the dollar match for the first 3%. PTO was decent at 20 days and work from home was available to everyone.
Effective August 2017, company has adopted Discretionary Time Off (DTO) time off for all exempt status employees. That means "unlimited" time off as long as your manager approves. Downside is that there is also no pay out at the end when you leave. 401(k) matching is 50 cents to a dollar up to $2,400 per year. Overall, very competitive benefits package for an organization this size with NY based HQ.
office perks good, medical/dental pricey.
Pro - work from home. $500 home set up fee. Con - There is no matching/ vesting until a year, even for experienced hires. The benefit out of pocket is average at best and really not competitive for this size company. Vacation time is stingy, too. And, worst, no equity or stock sharing as this was taken private.
