As the company preps to sell benefits aren’t as good as they were prior. Still have 401k Match.
Health premium are high, 401K does have a match, vacation time is generous.
Best would be the 401k. Worst would be health insurance.

The best benefit is the 401k matching program (up to 4% max). The worst benefits are the health care coverage and the PTO program (half, or less than half of the standard PTO offer at other labs ).
The best benefit is the 401k matching (up to 4%) program. The worst benefit is the health care coverage. You have to choose between relatively cheap coverage with insanely high deductible, or a pricey premium for standard coverage with a decent deductible. It feels like a gamble either way. Oh, and the PTO program is half of what other labs offer! ! Literally 50% of standard PTO programs.
Match 3% for 401 K but terrible with holidays and vacation time.
Benefits ok. Better if you live near near the corporate office in TX.

The worst thing about the benefits package were great until November of 2014. Then the insurance changed and the PPO plan was no longer offered. The new plan only had the HSO account which had an extremely deductible.
