All U.S. full time exempt employees enjoy our Flexible Time-off policy (FTO). By allowing them to take as many days as needed eash year, they have more flexiblity in scheduling vacation time, balancing family concerns and health issues. This policy is subject to manager's approval and there is no yearly accural of time or monetary payout at the end of employment with Informatica.
Unlimited PTO sucks for CA workers and others who lose the pay-out option.
It is limitless for all exempt employees.
Unlimited vacation. How does it work? Well you take off what time you need and when you need it. It is at the discretion of you and your manager. Most managers have the philosophy that if you have your work done take the time off. It allows for greater flexibility and I no longer feel bad taking time off because we all take full advantage of the time off.
It's nice not having to worry about using up vacation time before it's too late (e.g. like a use-it-or-lose-it plan). The only downside is having to remember to take time off.
Offers FTO taken as needed
We have 'unlimited' paid time off. This is assuming you're on par to hit your number and meet all your deliverables.
They have limited PTO and is explicitly tracked. Sometimes folks ended up taking PTO because sick day policy was not clear.
Well we've just moved to an unlimited PTO program and it's proving to be quite nice. Provided your responsible and that there is ample coverage from your team of peers seems to work great. Come on now we're flexible responsible working adults you have to be conscious of what is going on but it's a plus indeed.
Flexible Time OFF and as many as may needed
Very good as long as you can balance and plan the work ahead of vacation
