Fulltime employees get health insurance alf paid, we also get 401k,vacation pay, sick pay and holiday pay. I really like all the perks included with this job.
The benefits package is existent, but not affordable if you have other things in your budget. Healthcare was about half the take home pay.
There was no benefits for part time employees although part time employees often worked full time hours. The benefits for full time employees was not very good. As with most companies health insurance was high priced and too costly for the rate of pay an average full time employee was paid.
Only health insurance they offered took up over half your pay check for that week thanks to they new health care act they had to drop the old one.
401k only matches up to 3 percent and if you do less than 3 percent they won't match it at all
The benefits package has good perks, but it is too expensive for my pay rate.
The health insurance is a joke. And trying to get sick time is almost impossible.
With working there front end cashier can get health insurance and that's about it only deli, bakery, meat, and other departments get more benefits.
It's awful, you work 40-50 hours a week and they will NOT put you on full time because they are cheap.
-Company does offer a 401k plan, slightly below average heath insurance, dental insurance, and disability plans. -Upper management receive bonuses (store manager, district manager, etc.) Those are based on how much profit your store (or district) is making, and since every store manager wants to make a bonus, you can expect some to try and keep employee pay down, as well as hours to save money. -The only bonus full-time employees get is a $50 Ingles gift card in december (after you've been full-time for one year), which they started taking taxes out of last year, so you get around $45, and that just goes back to the company. You can't spend it anywhere else. -Vacation works like this: full time for 1 year (one week/yr), 3 years (two weeks/yr), 10 years (three weeks/yr). Vacation does not roll over. If you do not use your vacation time within one year, you will lose it. -With sick pay, once you've worked full time for one year, you will receive one week sick pay(5 work days). You receive one week a year until it reaches five weeks. It never goes any higher, and they do not expire. To use your sick pay, ingles requires you to be out of work (with doctor's letter) for five consecutive work days. You CAN NOT take one or two days at a time. -You receive 5 paid holidays you can take whenever you want, with the manager's approval. (New year's, independence day, memorial day, thanksgiving, and christmas.)
List based on reports from current and former employees. It may not be complete.
