“They provide matching. ”
“Just what the law says, no more no less. I am not sure there is a paternity leave. It was not relevant for me but it was for my team members.”
“The plan is ok when single and healthy. Once you put your family (wife and two kids) on it, co-pay is staggering, even for basic pediatrician / dental purposes. Dental for adults is not well reimbursed at all and the ceiling is reached very quickly. One root canal, one check-up and done.”
There were only great things, Initiative was very forthcoming about the benefits available and ensured that every individual had the necessary knowledge regarding them.
good benefits package with lots of options!
Below industry standard. The starting salary is $35K. Mid-level planner roles are $50K. The manager role is around $75-80K. Associate Director role $85-95K. Director role: $95-110K. Entry-level roles are paid hourly, not salary. Benefits do not start until after 90 days.
Time off and flexible work schedule are second to none.
Very generous time off and work from home policies. All employees are allowed to WFH 1x/month; in general, not an issue to request more if needed. Unlimited DTO.
The package was standard and similar other agencies of its size.
Health insurance package is pretty nice, I would say it's very competitive compared to what other companies offer. The best perk is the fact that they give you unlimited vacation days (or discretionary time as they like to call it) and it starts from day 1. As long as you do your work and your manager approves the request, you can take as much time as needed.
It was a fairly robust program. Very comparable with other media and advertising agencies.
No 'vacation day's; company has 'discretionary time off' so you can technically take off as many days as you would like.
Levels of coverage for a family and for Dental is subpar. 401(k) matching is low. Options for childcare are non-existent. Equity incentive plan is limited to top management, pretty poor, and with long vesting periods that defeat the purpose of the incentive.
List based on reports from current and former employees. It may not be complete.
