Very low premiums for medical and dental and cost did not increase over the prior year, several plan options as well. Generous PTO as a new hire which increases after only 2 years. Company paid life insurance and short/long term disability.
The Health Insurance is horrible, making the co-payments are impossibly high, compared to other engineering software companies in the global market. The 401K match is limited to a couple of hundred bucks a year. The holidays are restricted to what the law says, nothing else (forget about "bridges" paid by the company). The social events are always located in cheap places. Travel policy is limited to Holiday-Inn style hotels and cheap airlines/routes, along with spartan expenses allowed. The CEO himself must approve every single trip, no matter how short it is.
Great medical and dental plans. They pay for life insurance, short and long term disability.
Standard 401k, PTO. Health insurance not cheap...
The health insurance benefits have definitely declined since the parent company was bought last year. The new high deductible plans offered are barely less expensive premium-wise than premiums from the low deductible plan that covered so much last year. It's really disappointing to know that I have to shell out hundreds every time I want to see the dermatologist or the ENT for non-preventative care.
Strong Benefit package. Equal or better than any comparable places I have worked.
