Best - Generous PTO, better than most places. Worst - no sabbatical leave. Other than that nothing stands out. Good 401k. Won't get rich like IT industry, or private sector.
PTO policies are bad! One pool for all of your time off work, for any reason. They deduct PTO any time you do not make hours to compensate AND remove from your accumulation. Very hard for new employees to get time off. Also, staffing here is a mess so PTO can be denied/canceled. Sometimes so much so that people have maxed out on their PTO accumulation and were not allowed to take any or have it paid out to them. Other wise the benefits are pretty decent as far as insurance. However, that too is becoming more and more expensive whilst becoming more and more underwhelming.
Everything was okay; just that you do have to pay for your medical a little and you don't get holiday pays: They are your PTO
I don’t really use the medical insurance. But the rest benefit is good
The lowest premium for medical is quite low comparing to other companies. The insurance premium for eye is comparable high. No sick days. You are sick, you have to use your vacation.

Decent health insurance. And they do help with school about 5,000 a year for graduate school so that was awesome.
