The benefits are the best thing here
Good benefits package for the area
401k and health was nice. There's also life insurance, PTO and 2 weeks of military leave.
Insurance, 401k, PTO plan, Flexible hours
Company perks technically have all of the above...but there is usually a catch. I selected the top plan (the plan with the highest premium taken from your paycheck). I went to the eye doctor and discovered that only the checkup was covered (usually the checkup and part of something else is covered on good plans). Also, If you are a skilled technician or if you are a CIRC in charge of a truck and you cannot find someone to take care of your accounts for the time you may be gone, your vacation may not be approved. Also, I have asked my boss a few times, with no clear response, what the protocol is for how snow days are recorded. If you decide to apply for this job and you are hired in a cold climate or one with cold seasons, ask and press for an immediate response. I worked on the mobile unit and drove my car to where it was parked it at different locations, even in snowy weather. Occasionally, bad weather would prevent us from getting to work. Once or twice in 2014 the company took those days from me as PTO when I could have used them as vacation. Do not let them do that to you. Your PTO hours should be used as you see fit and on your own time, not the company's (if you are sick, if you want to take vacation, emergency days, etc.).
List based on reports from current and former employees. It may not be complete.
