    Although pensions are soon to be a thing of the past, you do vest at 5 years. Minimal percent of your final salary.

    Most companies do not offer this anymore. This is good if you plan on staying with the company.

    Not many companies offer a pension anymore and this is definitely a plus for working for Intermountain. They did take away the pension when the market crashed in 2008, but they were able to reinstate it a year or two later. I think that shows they are very financially in tune and do things to protect their company.

    New employees are still offered. 12 % of your income at age 65. Must be over 21, work 20 hours a week or more for a year, and be with the company for 5 years.
